We will have a sizzler again this afternoon. This is due to an area of high pressure located over Texas and the Western Gulf. This will allow us to have mostly sunny skies with only stray storms popping up this afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 90s and the heat index around 100 to 105.
The oppressive heat continues into the evening with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 80s.
Look for mostly clear skies with stuffy weather tonight. Lows will fall to the mid 70s.
