PLATTENVILLE- Assumption Parish deputies say there is a connection between two home invasions.
The first one happened around 10:00 pm Wednesday. Madeline Breaux says two men broke into her home and demanded money. They held Breaux and her two children captive most of the night.
When Breaux's boyfriend came by around 5:30 am Thursday, deputies say the suspects attacked and robbed him.
The pair forced the boyfriend to drive to his sister's home further down along La. 308. Deputies say the suspects broke into that home and also demanded money.
Witnesses say the men left in a light colored, four door sedan.
