ST. MARTINVILLE - Around 1 am Tuesday St. Martin Parish deputies got a call about a medical emergency at the SLEMCO Electric Sub Plant at the intersection of Boon Lasseigne Road and Section 28 Road in St. Martinville.

Upon arrival officers discovered the medical emergency was for a suspected robber.

The suspect, identified as Jules Johnson, 35, of Henderson, was apparently shocked during an attempted theft of copper cable at the facility.
