Suspect in Tuesday Amelia shooting turns himself in
UPDATE: Hakeemia Bias turned himself in to authorities.
ST. MARY PARISH- Authorities are looking for the suspect in a shooting case that left one man dead on Tuesday.
Detectives from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office are looking for 23-year-old Hakeemia Bias.
Authorities found evidence that Bias confronted the victim, 23-year-old Christopher Singleton, and fired a handgun striking Singleton.
The shooting took place on Friendship Alley in Amelia.
Bias is wanted for second-degree murder.
Anyone with information on Bias' location is asked to contact the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office at 985-384-1622.
