Suspect identified in La Margie Ave. murder
BATON ROUGE - Police released the name of a 17-year-old Thursday who investigators said killed a Baton Rouge man and injured another this week.
Baton Rouge Police said Brandon Boyd is wanted for the shooting death of Emanuelle Myles, 24, during a fight Wednesday night on La Margie Avenue. Police said Boyd also shot a 19-year-old in the arm.
Investigators said Boyd fired into the crowd surrounding a fight fight, hitting Myles and the 19-year-old. Police said the 19-year-old was involved in the fight, but Myles and Boyd were bystanders.
EMS took both victims to the hospital, and police said Myles died Thursday from his injuries.
