Suspect arrested Wednesday after deadly armed robbery in Baton Rouge last week
UPDATE: Police have arrested 33-year-old Sedrick Lewis in connection with the deadly shooting.
Lewis was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison Wednesday on charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery.
BATON ROUGE - Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that left one man dead earlier this month.
The shooting was reported on North Donmoor Ave. on June 4 around 10:36 p.m. According to a release, 33-year-old Sirroy Young of Alabama was shot multiple times while struggling with a suspect who tried to rob him.
Young was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but died from his injuries on June 7.
This is an ongoing investigation.
