Update: A 28 year old man is in jail, accused of shooting a girl as she arrived at a Shreveport school Friday morning.
18 year old Tammie Spates was shot several times as she arrived at Booker T. Washington High School.
Police say Spates was able to name her attacker.
Officers tracked down 28 year old Tony Holden. He was caught after a long foot chase.
Investigators say Spates and Holden had been romantically involved.
He is charged with attempted second degree murder and felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. The carnal knowledge charge stems from Holden's ongoing relationship with Spates.
Spates is hospitalized with what's described as non life threatening injuries.
No one else was hurt at the school.
