BATON ROUGE- Families of victims of violence are joining together to help cope with what crime leaves them with.
The Healing Hearts Grief Support Group started a month ago. The woman who started it lost her son to crime four years ago.
The recent crime in the Capital City spawned her to create the group that brings loved ones together to share their stories and heal together.
The group meets every second and fourth Monday of the month at Eden Park Library.
