Super help with filing on Super Tax Day
BATON ROUGE - The scramble is on to get your tax returns ready. If you're stressing out, there's a way for you to receive free assistance. Capital Area United Way is hosting their annual Super Tax Day this weekend. Kendall Hebert joined us on 2une In this morning with the details.
"We have about 70 IRS-trained volunteers that will be on-site," she told News 2's John Pastorek. "Last year alone we had nearly $350,000 in returns from Super Tax Day."
The free assistance is available this Saturday, February 7th from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. At Baton Rouge Community College. You aren't required to register before.
