Super Bowl weekend kicks off in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE - A host of festivities and parades today kick off this weekend's Super Bowl and Mardi Gras celebrations around Baton Rouge.
The Super Bowl Fan Fest experience starts with live music at the North Boulevard Town Square today at noon and 4 p.m. The Krewe of Artemis will also hold their parade at 7 p.m.
On Saturday the Super Bowl celebrations continue at the Town Square with bands again at noon and 4 p.m., along with the Krewe of Mystique Parade rolling at 2 p.m. and Krewe of Orion at 6:30 p.m.
Then on Super Bowl Sunday the Media Beacon in the Town Square will hold a Super Bowl watch party starting at 5:30 p.m.
