The New Orleans Saints success is creating a musical frenzy. Dozens of Saints-related songs have been written, produced, and are making their way across radio airwaves.
"I don't ever remember this many songs coming out about anything," said Devan Adams, Radio DJ for New Country 100.7.
Adams said the song wave started when the Saints started going undefeated. Once they made it to the playoffs, radio stations started being bombarded with Saints songs. Now that the team is going to the Super Bowl, a who new wave of music is being discovered.
"We've gotten songs from people recording in their garages and even in their showers singing," said Adams.
Adams incorporates Saints songs into his radio show almost every day. He is getting more calls from listeners who want to hear them.
"New Orleans is all about your rhythm and blues, R & B, southern rock, and country all mixed in," said Adams.
Fans expect more songs to be made if the Saints win the Super Bowl.
