For the first time this month of September a dry forecast appears to be on tap for tonight's slate of high school football games. While our in-house Futurecast weather forecast model is suggesting a sprinkle is possible in our northern and western parishes and counties, other computer weather models are not, and there just doesn't seem to be enough moisture available for rain to actually develop. Thus, we keep a dry forecast in place through the weekend now. As far as temperatures go, as we're in a persistent weather pattern, a Thursday high near 90° means a number near that should be recorded straight through the weekend.
