An area of high pressure is still sitting over the Southeast U.S. and this will allow us to have mostly sunny skies this afternoon. This will usher in northeast to east winds which will keep us less humid again. Some high clouds will stream in from the Gulf where the old cold front has stalled. It will be warm with highs in the upper 80s.
The mostly sunny skies will continue into the evening hours with temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
Look for one more cool and refreshing night across Southeast Louisiana. It will be mostly clear and pleasant with lows in the mid 60s.
