Sunday's Fan Day, Media Day Activities Cancelled
BATON ROUGE – Due to the continued rain and flooding across Louisiana, LSU has cancelled Football Fan Day and Media Day, which were both scheduled to be held on campus on Sunday.
Fan Day will not be rescheduled. LSU is working on a plan to distribute the football schedule placards, posters as well as the complimentary Geaux Clear bags, which were both going to be handed out on Sunday.
“Safety is our primary concern right now,” LSU Vice-Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva said. “Unfortunately, with all of the high water, flooding and continued rain, there is no way that we can put people in harm’s way so we have no choice but to cancel this event.”
