Expect temperatures to reach into the middle 60s today under plenty of sunshine followed by a few passing clouds tonight and lows in the middle 30s.
An upper level trough has lagged behind the cold front that brought rain and a few thunderstorms yesterday morning. Meanwhile, high pressure is positioned off to our west. As this trough moves to our east, and high pressure pushes closer to Louisiana, a secondary cold front will drop through the area tonight allowing a more northerly component to our winds and a push of noticeably cooler air. With moisture pulled away by yesterday's system, this front should pass dry.
