The New Orleans Bowl signed a four-year contract extension with Conference USA and the Sun Belt Conference that run will through the 2013 season.

This season's New Orleans Bowl will be played Dec.10.

Last season, Southern Mississippi of Conference USA beat Troy 30-27 in the New Orleans Bowl.
