BATON ROUGE - An arrest in a public park led to the recovery of a suitcase meth lab, according to authorities.

Terry Baggett was arrested at the BREC Park on Plank Road after a tip to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office that someone was cooking meth there.

Deputies said a search of Baggett's home found a meth lab suitcase containing generators, cold packs, psuedophedrine pills and filters.

A search of the suspect's truck at the park also found drug paraphernalia.

Baggett faces charges of operating a meth lab, public drinking, drinking alcohol at a BREC park, and possession of marijuana. He was also wanted as a fugitive by the Baker Police Department.
