BATON ROUGE - Southern University police have arrested an 18-year-old student accused of raping a female student in her dorm room last September.
Jeremy Williams of Baton Rouge faces one charge of forcible rape.
According to the arrest warrant, the student arrived in the common area of her dormitory suite and saw Williams, who said he was looking for someone else. The female student allowed Williams to wait in her room, where he raped her.
Williams was booked into parish prison Monday.
He has since been released on bond.
