BATON ROUGE, La. - Southern University's dance team known as the "Dancing Dolls" return home tonight from their performance in Sunday night's Super Bowl halftime show.
The squad performed with pop music icon Madonna
Madonna discovered the girls after watching a video of one of their performances on the popular video website, Youtube.
Southern's band director, Lawrence Jackson, says the Super Bowl performance was a first for the Dancing Dolls.
The school's band department, which oversees the Dolls, will get a payment for their performance, but Jackson declined to reveal how much.
The squad is set to make it back to Baton Rouge tonight at 10.
