SU Athletic Director arrested for soliciting a prostitute
HOUSTON - Southern University's athletic director, Greg LaFleur, has been arrested in suspicion of soliciting a prostitute, according to Houston Police.
A spokesperson for the Houston Police Department said LaFleur was arrested around 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Main Street in the city.
They said LaFleur was booked on a charge of soliciting a prostitute and given a $500 bond.
Ed Pratt with Southern said the university would investigate LaFleur's actions.
"When our investigation is completed the university will determine what action or actions are necessary," He said. "There are several decisions that can be made; we will not speculate at this time about which path we will take. Until our inquiry is finished, we will have no further comment."
