ASSUMPTION PARISH- Students at Assumption Parish High School turned to the tennis courts to help stamp out kidney cancer from the community.
"Paint the Courts Orange" was an event aimed at raising money to find a cure for kidney cancer.
Students played in a tennis match and raised nearly $8,000. The entire school even got involved. Donations are still being accepted.
Checks can be made out to AHS Kidney Cancer Fund.
