Student arrested after bomb threat, evacuation
CLINTON - Authorities arrested an East Feliciana High student today after they said another student overheard them threaten to bomb and shoot up the school.
State Police said 17-year-old Sean Mahan faces terrorizing charges in connection with the incident, which caused the school to be evacuated.
Investigators said a student overheard Mahan talking to another juvenile about bombing and shooting the school. The student told their parent in a text message, and the parent called the school which prompted the evacuation and investigation.
Troopers said the other juvenile Mahan was talking to was released to their parents, and was not facing charges at this time.
