ST. GABRIEL - The owner of the "Saint Gabriel Grocery and Deli" fought back when a man busted into her store and demanded money.

The situation escalated when the robber pulled out a gun, waived it in the air and pointed the gun at the owner. That's when her daughter got involved. She pulled the suspect away from her mom and fought back, with words and hand signals. The robber ran out of the store and was caught on camera in the parking lot, too.

The entire incident was caught on tape, because the surveillance cameras were rolling when the chain of events unfolded. Nearby schools were placed on lockdown.
