Still warm, but less humid
After Monday's cold front, drier air will slowly filter out the oppressive humidity through Tuesday.
Today will be a gem by July standards. Expect clouds to fully clear from north to south with bountiful blue skies being offered up for most of the day. Highs will again approach 90° but rather than haze and humidity, drier warmth is anticipated.
Tonight will be a rarity in South Louisiana this time of year-nighttime temperatures dipping into the upper 60s beneath clear skies and a light northerly wind.
