We have another quiet morning across the Capital City with mostly clear skies as some high clouds stream-by. It is still chilly with temperatures in the 40s. Take that jacket again as you head out the door!
An area of high pressure remains over Louisiana today and that will keep us sunny to mostly sunny. A few high clouds will still move-by overhead, but they will not block the sun. It will be a tad cooler today as a weak disturbance skirts-by just north of Louisiana. It will help to draw in the slightly cooler air to Baton Rouge this afternoon. High temperatures will be in the mid 60s.
The colder air will lingering into tonight as well as the disturbances moves off to the northeast of Louisiana. We will be clear with low temperatures in the upper 30s. Some patchy frost will be possible, so keep your plants covered or inside.
