Two Louisiana Senate committees are looking into the Gulf oil spill with a join hearing today.

Panel members of the Senate's Natural Resources and Environmental Quality expect to get information from representatives of the governor's office; the Coast Guard; BP; rig-owner Transocean and subcontractor Halliburton.
