State offices close for Good Friday holiday
BATON ROUGE - Most Louisiana state offices are shut down for the Good Friday holiday.
The Friday holiday is a legal day of rest in state law.
Some legislative employees may be working, however, since Friday is the final day for bills to be pre-filed for the regular legislative session that begins April 8.
After that, limits kick in on how many bills lawmakers can file for consideration.
