State Fire Marshal issues emergency alert amid freezing temperatures
BATON ROUGE - The Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal issued an emergency alert as freezing cold temperatures are expected in much of the state this week.
Fire Marshal Deputies responded to seven fire investigations during a 12 hour period Monday. In a Facebook post, the State Fire Marshal reminded homeowners of several safety principles during the next few days.
