Louisiana's Animal Response Team has acquired an animal emergency response vehicle, a heavy duty truck and 36-foot long trailer to use in disasters like hurricanes, floods and tornadoes.
LSART plans to use the vehicle as an operations command center or a mobile veterinary clinic during emergencies.
Officials unveil the vehicle Friday at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine.
