State AG clears deputy
PORT ALLEN- A West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's deputy was cleared of any wrongdoing in a case involving donated money.
The Attorney General was asked to investigate Donna LeBlanc and allegations of mishandled money donated after her daughter was injured in a wreck. Numerous community events raised thousands of dollars.
The sheriff asked the AG to handle an investigation and it found no violation of state law. The state's investigation is now closed.
LeBlanc said she did not want to comment on the situation.
