UNDATED - The Washington Capitals are looking to take a 3-0 lead tonight in their best-of-seven first-round NHL playoff series with New York's Rangers.

The Caps won the opening games on their own ice and tonight must face the New Yorkers in Madison Square Garden. Following tonight's game, they'll meet again in Game 4, in New York, Wednesday.

In the other Eastern Conference playoff game this evening, Boston is skating at Toronto. That series is tied at 1-1.

In the West, Anaheim and St. Louis can take a 3-1 lead in their respective series with a win. The Ducks top the Red Wings 2-1 and play tonight in the Motor City, while the Blues are facing the defending champion Kings in L.A.
