A man wanted in the murder of four people in Calcasieu Parish was arrested after a standoff near the LSU lakes today.

It happened barely a mile from LSU. Almost every law enforcement agency in Baton Rouge had a hand in arresting 52-year-old Lee Roy Williams, and they all parked in a neighborhood that's not used to seeing police there. There were three other men inside the SUV with Williams who were also arrested.

The men were all taken into custody for questioning. There's still no word on how exactly they're involved with the day’s events.

Williams is charged with attempted first degree murder in Baton Rouge for trying to run over a sheriff's deputy during the standoff.
