Standoff ends at Livingston apartment complex
DENHAM SPRINGS- A standoff at an apartment complex ended Thursday evening, a few hours after it began.
A man barricaded himself in his apartment as he was being served with an eviction notice.
Deputies were told he had a gun. He was the only person inside.
Some neighbors in the apartment complex on Vincent Road near Pete's Highway were evacuated.
The man surrendered and was taken to a hospital. No charges have been filed.
