Stalled 18-wheeler backs I-10W up from College to Siegen
BATON ROUGE - The commonplace issue of Friday evening traffic in the Capital City is off to a good start as an 18-wheeler has run out of fuel just before the College Drive exit.
While all lanes are now open, traffic has backed up on I-10 West out to Siegen Lane, and congestion can be expected within the next hour as normal flow resumes.
We'll keep this story updated throughout the afternoon as high volume and wet conditions could ensure a messy commute.
I-110 is currently closed south bound at the Governor's mansion due to a one vehicle crash where the driver lost control and hit the middle wall. Traffic is being routed to an exit ramp then back on to interstate.
