The annual Christmas dinner at St. Vincent de Paul was held Friday for the poor and homeless in the Baton Rouge areas. Volunteers served up hot meals to hundreds at the St. Vincent de Paul dining hall. Members of the society say their homeless shelters for men, women and children are full this holiday weekend so they share a lot more than just food...they offer hope and compassion.
The children all received toys, and each of the homeless men and women received a wrapped Christmas present courtesy of an anonymous donor.
