St. Tammany Parish authorities crack down on underage alcohol sales
ST. TAMMANY PARISH - Two undercover operations occurred last week targeting businesses serving alcohol to those under 21.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office, a total of 65 businesses were checked during the operation. Eighteen of those clerks were issued summonses for non-compliance.
Sheriffs did not say which businesses failed to comply.
Clerks on both the west and east side of the parish were subject to the operation.
