BATON ROUGE - Along with all the festivities this weekend, comes a safety precaution from Alcohol & Tobacco Control: card hard and drink responsibly.

ATC Special Agent Jeff Barthelemy visited a number of Baton Rouge bars today, to make sure every bar employee knows to check identification and to not over-serve their customers.

One bar manager says his employees will be checking Id's at multiple locations in the bar.

"It might get a little annoying, but we know people understand that that's what we have to do, we need to keep people safe and responsible," he said.
