BATON ROUGE - It's the first Friday in Lent, which means it's time for a Baton Rouge Lenten tradition. They'll start serving gumbo today at St. James Episcopal Church.

It's served every Friday during Lent from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at 205 North 4th Street in downtown Baton Rouge. It's just $10 a meal, and you can dine in or get it to-go. Call (225) 387-5141 or visit their website for more information.

Gumbo and goodwill at St. James Episcopal Church is the perfect recipe for Lent.
