St. Helena Parish shooting leaves 1 woman dead
ST. HELENA PARISH- At around 8:20 last night deputies from the St. Helena Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting that is still under investigation.
Deputies arrived at 208 Pistol Womack Lane in Greensburg where they found a light colored sedan that had been hit by another vehicle. The sedan appeared to have been shot at on the driver's side.
In the vehicle was a white female that had been shot and had no signs of life, authorities said.
Investigators later learned there was a male suspect located at the St. Helena Parish Hospital with injuries consistent of what appeared to be a gun shot wound.
