On this first day of Meteorological Spring (months of March, April and May) we will be unseasonably warm through the afternoon with Spring-like temperatures in the lower 80s under mostly cloudy skies. A few showers will also be possible thanks to a stalled cold front located just north of Baton Rouge.
The warm and muggy weather will continue tonight with mostly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will drop into the upper 60s. Some patchy fog will be possible if the winds go calm.
