Sports 2-A-Days: St. Michael
BATON ROUGE - According to head coach Paul Varnado, the St. Michael football team took its lumps in 2013, but with a strong class of 19 seniors, the Warriors could make strides during the 2014 campaign.
The Warriors have 16 returning starters including all five offensive linemen for a team that went 4-6 in district 6-4A.
Varnado feels like his team will have a better run/pass balance this season after struggling in the run game last year.
