Spiced Pumpkin Bread Pudding

BATON ROUGE- Local chefs Jay Ducote and Chris Wadsworth previewed their Halloween Haunted House pop-up dinner on News 2 at 4.

They made spiced pumpkin bread pudding with eggnog sauce, coffee caviar, and roasted pumpkin seeds. Chef Wadsworth said the sauce was a typical whisky sauce used for most bread puddings, but with some eggnog in it to add some seasonal spice. The bread pudding was also a standard recipe with roasted pumpkin puree added in.
