Speeding violation leads to underage DWI arrest
BATON ROUGE - A driver stopped for speeding in Baton Rouge, leads to a more serious charge.
State Police stopped 20 year-old Jordan Winding, while he was traveling eastbound on Staring Lane late Monday night.
Winding then fled the scene, then stopped again on GSRI Avenue and took off on foot, before he was caught.
Troopers say Winding had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, as well as marijuana in his possession.
Winding was arrested for Underage DWI, as well as drug possession and speeding.
He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
