Today marks a special moment at the Baton Rouge River Center, as the Special Olympics National Unified Tournament will take over the USBC Open Championships stage on Wednesday and Thursday (Feb. 15-16) and will be on the lanes from approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Last year, nearly 400 bowlers, representing 13 states, competed on bowling's biggest stage and earned gold, silver and bronze medals for their participation. WBRZ will bring you some of the stories from these special athletes tonight at 6pm.
