BATON ROUGE - WBRZ Sports has learned current Nevada offensive lineman coach James Spady is a finalist for the vacant Jaguars head coaching job. Southern will bring in Spady Monday for an on-campus interview.

Athletics Director Dr. William Broussard indicated on Jaguar Journal, hosted by Reggie Flood on 104.5FM ESPN Baton Rouge, Southern was moving forward with finalists starting Thursday. Broussard also said he hoped to present his recommendation to the Southern Board of Supervisors by Friday, December 14th.
