BATON ROUGE - The Southern Jaguars are in the NCAA tournament set to take on No. 1 seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs. The Jags have been selected as a 16 seed.

The game will take place in Salt Lake City on Thursday.

Southern enters the game with a 23-9 record while Gonzaga boasts a 31-2 mark. The Jaguars will have an uphill battle if they want to pull the upset, a No. 16 seed has ever defeated a No. 1 seed in the collegiate tournament.
