Southern University leaders are discussing a proposal for a project that would allow the university to produce electricity on-site to heat and cool all buildings on campus. The project is part of an energy saving effort between the university and Broad International, a Chinese multi-national energy company.
Chancellor Kofi Lomotey is meeting with members of the Chinese delegation today to discuss the proposal.
