Southern looks forward to first-ever SEC tilt
BATON ROUGE - The Southern Jaguars are 2-0 in SWAC play this year and have put up 50 points in each of their last two games, but this next game will be a much different challenge.
The Jags head to Athens to face the Georgia Bulldogs in what will be Southern's first-ever game against an SEC opponent.
The Bulldogs are no conference patsy either: ranked 7th in the country and boasting one of the best running backs in the country in Nick Chubb (468 yds, 4 tds in 2015).
The Jaguars say they're looking forward to the challenge.
