The Southern Jaguars have once again shown they can make the adjustments in the locker room and come out and play a tough second half of football.
The Jags are trailing the Hornets 31-24 nearing the conclusion of the game after scoring ten second half points.
Southern trailed 21-7 after the first quarter, they've fought back and limited one of the top teams in the SWAC to just a field goal in the second half.
Quarterback Dray Joseph has over 300 yards passing and two touchdowns, however two turnovers have limited their chances.
State has missed a couple of field goals keeping the Jags in the game with three minutes to play.
