Southern University dedicated the FG Clark Activity Center floor Saturday night to one of its Jaguar greats - Avery Johnson.

Known for playing, leading with intagibles bigger than his stature, Johnson came back to Southern, with many of his teammates, to accept the dedication and have his number retired.

The Jaguars treated Johnson to a double-header of wins against their rival Grambling State: 83-83(2 OT) in the women's and a 59-31 win in the men's game.
